Bushra Bibi, wife of PTI founder Imran Khan, has surrendered in all 23 cases against her, including those related to the May 9 protests. The former First Lady appeared before the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Rawalpindi. Her vehicle was granted access to the court premises for the hearing.
Advocate Muhammad Faisal Malik, representing Bushra Bibi, submitted bail applications in all 23 cases.
In a related development, the Toshakhana case against PTI founder Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi will also be heard today. Special Judge Central Islamabad, Shah Rukh Arjumand, will conduct the hearing at Adiala Jail, where prosecution witnesses are expected to record their statements.
Additionally, the General Headquarters (GHQ) attack case against Imran Khan, former Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi, former Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur, and others is also scheduled for hearing today.
During the proceedings, charges are likely to be framed against six more accused individuals, adding to the 113 accused who have already been charged in the case.
