Islamabad (News Desk) – Bushra Bibi, the wife of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan, has expanded her influence beyond political matters, now actively intervening in the party’s legal affairs. According to sources, she has reorganized the teams of PTI lawyers and the Insaf Lawyers Forum.
Reports reveal that Bushra Bibi, through senior lawyer Qazi Anwar, has called for a comprehensive list of lawyers from across the country. Qazi Anwar and Mishal Yousafzai will now report directly to Bushra Bibi regarding legal matters.
Sources further indicate that Bushra Bibi has instructed Qazi Anwar to consult her on all significant legal cases and has barred lawyers from directly communicating with PTI’s founding chairman.
This week, Bushra Bibi was reportedly involved in finalizing changes to the KP lawyers’ office bearers. She resolved internal disputes among lawyers and informed the PTI leadership of her decisions.
In addition, Qazi Anwar has briefed Bushra Bibi on leadership shortcomings and issues within the legal fraternity.
Efforts to seek comments from PTI Secretary-General Salman Akram Raja on this matter were unsuccessful, as he refrained from providing any statement.
