Rajpal Yadav, a renowned Bollywood actor, has faced legal trouble once again due to unpaid loans. The Central Bank of India has seized his property in Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh, over a substantial loan default. This is not the first time Yadav has faced financial difficulties, having been jailed previously for defaulting on a loan for his film “Ata Pata Lapata”.

Yadav had taken a loan of INR 3 crore from the Central Bank of India’s Mumbai branch, which was secured against properties owned by his father, Naurang Yadav, in Shahjahanpur. However, the loan amount ballooned to INR 11 crore due to accumulated interest and penalties after Yadav failed to make timely payments.

On August 8, a team from the Central Bank’s Mumbai branch arrived in Shahjahanpur and sealed the property, marking a significant escalation in the bank’s efforts to recover the outstanding amount. Yadav, known for his comic roles in over 150 films, has not issued an official statement regarding the property seizure.

This incident highlights the financial struggles faced by Yadav, despite his success in films like “Bhool Bhulaiyaa”. His production house, Shri Naurang Godavari Entertainment Limited, had taken the loan to fund a film featuring local talent from Shahjahanpur, but it failed to achieve the anticipated success.

Yadav’s fans are eagerly waiting for his upcoming projects, including “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3”, “Baby John”, “Welcome To The Jungle”, and “Maktoob”. However, this property seizure has raised concerns about his financial stability and ability to manage his debts.
