Fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi has arrived in Dhaka to participate in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), where he will represent Fortune Barishal. Alongside him, other Pakistani players, including Faheem Ashraf, Jahandad Khan, and Mohammad Ali, are also part of the same franchise.
The defending champions, Fortune Barishal, have directly included the 24-year-old Pakistani cricketer in their squad.

The tournament kicks off on December 30 and will continue until February 7, though Shaheen Shah Afridi is expected to participate in only a few matches.
PCB’s Approval
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has granted Shaheen Afridi a No Objection Certificate (NOC) valid until January 15, 2025, allowing him to participate in the BPL.

It’s noteworthy that Shaheen Afridi was rested for the Test series against South Africa, providing him the opportunity to feature in the BPL.
