Popular Pakistani actress Sonya Hussyn has publicly announced that celebrated cricketer Babar Azam is no longer her favorite player which has sparked reactions on social media. This can be attributed to many reasons, we can say, probably, due to Babar’s poor performances and ineffective leading skills in back to back matches.
Sonya Hussyn lately appeared in a cricket show with host Waseem Badami, during which she was asked regarding her favorite player in the Pakistani cricket team. While responding, Sonya, with a little reluctance, said that until now, it was Babar Azam, but now there is a new player she likes. Adding that she does not know his name yet.
Detailing her discussion, Sonya revealed that accomplished cricketer Shoaib Akhtar is always her favourite cricketer.
The star, while singing praise for the cricketer, said: “Shoaib Akhtar has an aura even till the day. Whenever he comes along with a team, he looks prominent.”
