The session of the Azad Kashmir Legislative Assembly could not be convened as the required number of signatures for the requisition was not met.
The session could not be called due to the lack of the required number of members’ signatures on the requisition. The Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) had also supported the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) for calling the session.
On the requisition of opposition leader Khawaja Farooq, the presidents of government coalition parties signed the requisition. The presidents of PTI, Muslim Conference, JKPP, PML-N, and PPP signed the requisition, and a government minister also signed the request for the session.
