In a successful operation at Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport, the Airport Security Force (ASF) arrested a female passenger attempting to smuggle drugs abroad.
According to ASF officials, 1.804 kilograms of heroin were recovered from the woman, who was traveling from Lahore to Abu Dhabi. The drugs were skillfully concealed on her body. During a thorough physical search, authorities found packets of heroin hidden in specific areas of the passenger’s body.
The passenger, identified as Maheen Butt, was flagged as suspicious during routine screening. After a detailed inspection, the ASF confiscated 1.894 kilograms of heroin, preventing the illegal drug shipment from reaching its destination.
The suspect was handed over to the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) for further investigation and legal action after initial questioning.
