Islamabad (NNI): Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi issued a special message on the anniversary of the martyrs of the Army Public School (APS) Peshawar. In his message, Naqvi expressed that on December 16, the worst enemies ruthlessly killed innocent children and teachers. He stated that this day has become a symbol of our resolve to continue the fight against terrorism.
He emphasized that the children and teachers laid the foundation for a peaceful Pakistan with their precious blood. The barbaric terrorists cruelly crushed these young lives in an act of cowardice.
Naqvi reiterated that the martyrs of APS live on in the hearts of the nation, while the cowardly enemies have been driven out of Pakistan’s land. He added that the sacrifices of the APS martyrs united the nation in the fight to eliminate the menace of terrorism. Their sacrifices will forever live in the hearts of every Pakistani. The martyrs, both children and teachers, are true heroes of the nation.
The Interior Minister further expressed solidarity with the families of the martyrs, saluting their resilience. He concluded by stating that the entire nation today pays tribute to the everlasting sacrifices of the APS martyrs.
