Apple is expected to unveil its most affordable iPhone 16 model in the coming months, with reports indicating the introduction of a new budget-friendly iPhone SE, possibly named the iPhone 16e.
This new model is likely to become part of the iPhone 16 series, marking a departure from previous SE versions. Leaked information suggests that the iPhone SE 4 will be quite different from other models in the series, with a design resembling the iPhone 14.
Notably, the new iPhone will feature the removal of the Home button, replaced by a front-facing camera in a notch design on the display. It will also be equipped with Apple’s latest A18 processor, which is a key part of the iPhone 16 lineup. This upgrade is expected to improve performance and introduce AI features for users, making it Apple’s most affordable AI-powered iPhone.
According to reports, the new model will sport a 6.06-inch OLED display and is expected to be launched in March 2025. The rear camera is likely to be a 48-megapixel lens, while the front camera will be 12 megapixels. The phone will also feature a larger battery, as well as Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, and 5G support.
For charging, the device will adopt a USB-C port. Leaks suggest that the phone will be available in black and white color options.
