Anti-Terrorism Court Issues Arrest Warrant for PTI’s Asad Qaiser

Islamabad’s Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) has issued an arrest warrant for PTI leader Asad Qaiser in connection with the Judicial Complex attack case. The court has directed authorities to arrest Qaiser and present him before the court.

ATC Judge Tahir Abbas Supra presided over the hearing, where requests for exemption from personal appearance filed by Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi, Asad Umar, and Shibli Faraz were accepted.

The court noted that a response from the Ministry of Law regarding the founder of PTI is still awaited. Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi was represented by Advocate Sardar Muhammad Razaq, while PTI leaders were represented by Sardar Muhammad Masroor Khan, Amna Ali, and other lawyers.

The hearing was adjourned until October 6. The case remains registered at the CTD police station against PTI leaders.
