Angelina Jolie – the Oscar-winning actress known for her outspoken views – recently made a candid revelation about one of her biggest pet peeves—liars.
In an exclusive interview with W Magazine, Jolie expressed her frustration with individuals who hide the truth or are disingenuous in their actions and words.
When asked about her personal irritations, the 49-year-old Maleficent star didn’t hold back. “I have many pet peeves, but my pet peeve is somebody who is a liar,” Jolie admitted, highlighting that such behavior is one of the few things she finds truly bothersome. “Somebody who feels a need to not say the truth or what they want, what they feel.
There’s a big version of that,” she added. “People who say one thing and mean another, who aren’t completely who they are. I think a lot of people don’t say what they mean.”
While Jolie’s words were pointed, she refrained from naming specific individuals in her life or elaborating on any instances of dishonesty she may have encountered.
This public expression of disdain for dishonesty comes on the heels of the finalized divorce between Jolie and her ex-husband, Brad Pitt. The former Hollywood power couple officially ended their eight-year marriage on December 30, 2024, after a lengthy and highly publicized legal battle.
