In a significant bust, the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has seized 37 kilograms of ice drug hidden in a parcel of female Khussas booked for Australia. The raid, conducted at a private courier company in Lahore, uncovered a cleverly concealed shipment of narcotics.
According to details, the ANF team received a credible intelligence report leading them to the parcel, which contained 20 cartons of female Khussas. Upon examination, the team found 1 kilogram of ice hidden in each pair of Khussas, totaling 37 kilograms.
The parcel, booked from Rawalpindi, was destined for Australia, highlighting the global reach of narcotics smuggling networks. The ANF team is conducting raids to apprehend the main accused involved in the smuggling attempt.
This seizure demonstrates the innovative methods smugglers employ to evade detection, but also showcases the ANF’s determination to foil their attempts. The use of traditional footwear like Khussas as a hiding place for narcotics is a new tactic, and the ANF’s vigilance has prevented a significant quantity of drugs from reaching Australian shores.
