An inter-agency task force has been activated in Balochistan, comprising FIA (Federal Investigation Agency), Levies, police, and other forces.
According to FIA officials, the task force is responsible for monitoring individuals attempting to travel abroad through unconventional routes.
A special FIA team has been formed in the border town of Taftan, specifically to handle cases related to human trafficking. This special team is registering cases of human smuggling.
FIA officials have reported that 23 human trafficking cases were registered in Balochistan during 2024.
Additionally, two human trafficking networks have been dismantled this year, according to the authorities.
