Accused Denies Charges; Court Summons Prosecution Witnesses for Next Hearing
peshawar:An indictment has been filed against former Provincial Minister Kamran Bangash in the police shooting case. The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) formally charged Bangash, who denied the charges against him. The court has summoned prosecution witnesses for the next hearing and adjourned the case until January 20.
According to the prosecution, in December 2023, the Chamakni Police raided Kamran Bangash’s residence to arrest the fugitive Murad Saeed. During the raid, Bangash and his associates allegedly opened fire on the police, resulting in injuries to two police officers.
