LAHORE, (News Desk): Accountability Court (AC) has summoned former Chief Minister (CM) Punjab Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi on January 7 in connection with his indictment in the case pertaining to alleged corruption in development projects.
AC Lahore issued written order of hearing of alleged corruption in development projects reference against Pervaiz Elahi and other accused persons.
The court summoned Pervaiz Elahi on January 7 for his indictment.
It was said in court’s order court is facing much difficulty in completing the attendance of the accused persons. The court while completing the norms of justice feels the accused who are present be indicted.
It was said in written order the court has not to make any further delay. There was exemption from attendance in respect of Muhammad Khan Bhatti from on previous date on medical grounds. Exemption from attendance plea of Pervaiz Elahi on medical grounds was also presented. His exemption from attendance plea is approved for one day.
The court said in written order that it indicts Muhammad Khan Bhatti, Khalid Mehmood Chatha, Asif Mehmood, Naeem Iqbal, Muhammad Asghar and Asad Ali.
