Peshawar( The COW News Digital) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Ganda Pur has expressed strong criticism over internal disputes within PTI regarding the Senate elections and ticket distribution. Speaking at a recent meeting in Peshawar, Ganda Pur accused certain party members of undermining unity and spreading baseless criticism.
The Chief Minister stated that his role in the distribution of Senate tickets was minimal, emphasizing that all actions were carried out under the directives of party chairman Imran Khan. “The drama surrounding the Senate elections targeted me unfairly,” he said. “We were merely following the orders of the party chairman because this is his party.”
Ganda Pur revealed that he has been deliberately prevented from meeting with Imran Khan, which he believes is harming the party and creating divisions. “Those preventing my meeting with Khan are not friends, they are enemies. Their actions are causing the party to fall into chaos,” he remarked.
He further discussed accusations regarding the announcement of Senate candidates. According to Ganda Pur, when names of candidates were initially circulated, many members claimed they were false. However, after Imran Khan himself confirmed the names, none of the critics offered an apology. “Not a single shameless person came forward to admit their mistake. That is true shamelessness—to act boldly yet never admit the truth,” he said.
Ganda Pur also clarified that his last meeting with Imran Khan took place on April 2, emphasizing that any communication gap was orchestrated by others within the party. He stressed that the party’s founder, Imran Khan, intends to maintain unity, but internal conspiracies are threatening to divide PTI.
The Chief Minister’s remarks highlight ongoing tensions within PTI as the party grapples with allegations of mismanagement and discontent over internal decision-making processes. Political analysts suggest that these internal rifts could affect the party’s performance in upcoming elections if not addressed promptly.
Ganda Pur concluded by urging party members to respect the decisions of the leadership and work collectively to prevent further divisions. His statement underscores the challenges faced by PTI in maintaining cohesion and the critical role of communication between party leadership and provincial leaders.
