Peshawar – In a welcome gesture ahead of Christmas, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has announced the disbursement of advance salaries, pensions, and allowances for Christian government employees across the province.
According to official details, the provincial Finance Department has issued a notification to all government departments, instructing them to ensure the timely payment of December’s salaries and pensions in advance to employees from the Christian community.
The announcement comes as preparations for Christmas are in full swing. The Christian community across Pakistan, including in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, will celebrate Christmas on December 25, a festival symbolizing peace, joy, and love.
Christmas celebrations traditionally include festive gatherings, colorful decorations, and the preparation of cakes, chocolates, and confectioneries, adding to the spirit of joy and togetherness.
The initiative by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has been widely appreciated, as it ensures that Christian employees can celebrate Christmas with financial ease and joy.
