DUBAI:( The COW News Digital) – Tajik social media star and Bigg Boss 16 alumnus Abdu Rozik was reportedly arrested at Dubai International Airport shortly after arriving from Montenegro on Saturday morning, according to multiple Arab and regional outlets.
His management confirmed the arrest around 5 a.m., stating he is being held on suspicion of theft, but no further details have been released. Dubai authorities and Rozik’s team have yet to issue an official statement, and the Government of Tajikistan has not responded.
Rozik, aged 21, is 100 cm tall due to a growth hormone deficiency and holds a UAE Golden Visa. He first rose to fame through viral music content and gained widespread popularity following his appearance on India’s Bigg Boss 16, earning acclaim across South Asia.
His career also includes boxing events in Dubai, a stint on Laughter Chefs Season 2, and entrepreneurial ventures like launching a restaurant in the UK. This marks his second public controversy, following a money‑laundering inquiry in India in 2024.
