In a recent interview, Junaid discussed his debut film Maharaj and his experience working in production.
Junaid revealed that after completing the shoot for Maharaj, Aamir Khan told him, “I am retiring, why don’t you take over” Aamir Khan Productions. Junaid expressed his understanding of production and considered it one of the toughest aspects of filmmaking.
When asked if his father’s work had influenced his film choices, Junaid said it hadn’t. He acknowledged that while Aamir Khan had produced remarkable work, not all of it was of the highest quality. Junaid emphasized learning from experiences and moving forward.
Regarding his parents’ reaction to his debut film, Junaid said they were happy for him and not anxious. He attributed this to their industry experience, saying they are generally not anxious people.
