Karachi: A video has surfaced of a daring robbery that occurred last Monday at Karachi’s vegetable market, where motorcycle-riding assailants snatched PKR 3.8 million from a trader’s employee.

Following a technical investigation, police from the Super Highway Sabzi Mandi outpost arrested two suspects involved in the heist, recovering PKR 2.6 million in cash and weapons. SSP East Farooq Raza revealed that the robbery was orchestrated by the trader’s cashier, Akbar, in collusion with Murad, a Suzuki driver from the vegetable market.

The incident occurred on December 16 when two armed motorcyclists robbed the trader’s employee, Akbar, of cash and his motorcycle. Investigations uncovered that Akbar, responsible for depositing and withdrawing his employer’s money from the bank, conspired with Murad and arranged for three external accomplices to carry out the robbery.

The robbers arrived on motorcycles and a Suzuki vehicle, with Akbar handing over the cash and bike as per their plan. While police have apprehended Akbar and Murad, efforts are ongoing to track down the three remaining suspects involved in the crime.

Authorities continue to investigate the case, promising further action to bring all perpetrators to justice.
