After days of consistent increases, gold prices have registered a decline in both international and local markets.
In the international bullion market, the price of gold fell by $18 per ounce, settling at $2,639.
Similarly, in local sarafa markets, the price of 24-karat gold dropped by PKR 1,200 per tola, reaching PKR 275,700. The price of 10 grams of gold also decreased by PKR 1,029, now standing at PKR 236,368.
In contrast, silver prices remained unchanged. The price of one tola of silver held steady at PKR 3,350, while the price of 10 grams remained unchanged at PKR 2,872.08
