Model and actress Dania Anwar recently revealed that after her first divorce, her daughter encouraged her to remarry when she began a relationship with someone else.

In a candid appearance on the FHM podcast, Dania opened up about various aspects of her personal life. She shared that she got married at the age of 19, and her first marriage lasted for six years. According to Dania, her first husband struggled with addiction, which worsened over time, and eventually, he became abusive, both physically and emotionally. This led to the end of their relationship.

When asked about her ex-husband, Dania mentioned that she had no idea of his whereabouts and that he no longer maintained contact with their children. “I taught my kids to respect their father, but he doesn’t make an effort to stay in touch with them. Wherever he is, I hope he’s doing well,” she said.

After the divorce, Dania had initially planned not to remarry for a while but later met a good person with whom she had a two-year relationship. Despite her initial hesitation, her daughter encouraged her to take the next step. “My daughter asked me why I didn’t marry this good man, especially after two years of being together,” she shared.

Dania explained that her primary concern was not only her own happiness but also the safety and well-being of her children, which delayed her decision to remarry. She expressed gratitude for her current husband and for the support she received from her mother-in-law, who praised her for ending her first marriage and often offers valuable advice.

Now 37 years old, Dania Anwar remarried three years after her first divorce and is living a fulfilling life with her two children from the first marriage. Notably, Dania is the daughter-in-law of legendary Pakistani actor Nadeem.
