Pakistan Shaheens Squad Announced for Warm-Up Match Against West Indies

Karachi (News Desk): The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the squad for the Pakistan Shaheens, who will play a three-day warm-up match against the West Indies.

According to a PCB statement, the warm-up match will take place from January 10 at the Islamabad Club, where opener Imam-ul-Haq will captain the Shaheens.

The West Indies Test squad is scheduled to arrive in Islamabad on January 6, while the Pakistan Shaheens squad will also assemble on the same day. Shaheens will begin their training on January 7 at the Islamabad Club, while the West Indies team will hold two training sessions on January 8 and 9.

The Test series between Pakistan and the West Indies will start on January 17 in Multan, with both matches of the ICC World Test Championship to be played there.

Notable inclusion in the Test squad is Musa Khan, who has taken 38 wickets in 5 matches during the current season of the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy.

The warm-up match will begin at 9:30 AM local time.

Imam-ul-Haq (captain), Ahmad Bashir, Ahmad Safi Abdullah, Ali Zaryab, Hasibullah, Hussain Talat, Kashif Ali, Mohammad Harirah, Mohammad Rameez Junior, Mohammad Suleman, Musa Khan, Umair Bin Yousaf, Roohail Nazir, and Saad Khan.

West Indies Test Squad:
Kraigg Brathwaite (captain), Alzarri Joseph, Casey Carty, Joshua Da Silva, Justin Graves, Kieran Powell, Tion Amlach, Ameer Jango, Micahel Lewis, Gudakesh Moti, Anderson Phillip, Kemar Roach, Jaden Seales, Kevin Sinclair, and Jomel Warrican.
