Islamabad (News Desk) – The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has once again carried out transfers and appointments within its ranks following its failure to meet the tax collection target for the third consecutive month.
According to media reports, FBR issued a notification announcing the transfer and appointment of 14 officers from the Customs Group, ranging from Grade 17 to Grade 21.
As per the notification, Grade 21 officer Mohammad Sadiq has been assigned the additional charge of Chief Collector Exports Input Out Karachi, while another officer of the same grade, Yaqoob Mako, has been appointed as a Member of FBR.
Additionally, Grade 21 officer Irfan Rehman has been appointed as the Chief Collector Customs Appraisement in Quetta, and Grade 19 officer Nosheen Riaz Khan has been appointed as Secretary at FBR. Furthermore, Grade 19 officer Tauseef Aman has also been appointed as Secretary at FBR.
The FBR has stated that these decisions will take immediate effect.
