Islamabad: Adviser to the Prime Minister on Political Affairs, Rana Sanaullah, has refuted claims that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder and former Prime Minister Imran Khan was offered a transfer from Adiala Jail to his residence in Bani Gala.

Speaking to the media on Thursday after the second round of negotiations between the coalition government and PTI, Rana Sanaullah stated, “Today’s discussions were very positive. Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Ali Amin Gandapur, made some constructive points, emphasizing that issues should be resolved through dialogue.”

When questioned by a journalist about reports of an offer for Imran Khan to be relocated to Bani Gala, Rana Sanaullah responded, “To my knowledge, no such offer has been made.”

He further disclosed that the PTI delegation raised concerns about the release of their detained workers. “The release of workers is a matter for the courts and not within our hands,” he clarified.

Rana Sanaullah added that PTI leader Omar Ayub urged the government not to obstruct the release process of the detained party members.
