Pakistani actress Salma Zafar recently shed light on several significant aspects of her personal life during a podcast.
She revealed that she allowed her husband, Asim, to marry a second time instead of engaging in extramarital affairs, and she also convinced her children to accept the decision.
Salma Zafar shared that she got married before the age of 18, and explained, “I got my national identity card only after marriage, and it was my mother-in-law who taught me how to run a household. Whatever I am today is thanks to her.”
She further disclosed that when she first learned about her husband’s friendships, the initial months were difficult. However, after discussing the matter with her father-in-law, she decided to allow her husband’s second marriage. Salma stated, “I told Asim, instead of having affairs, let’s make it a marriage.”
Salma Zafar also managed to convince her children to accept the decision, explaining that if they wanted their father to remain healthy, they would have to support the marriage. Her son agreed, on the condition that he wouldn’t have to cry over the matter.
The actress mentioned that after her husband’s second marriage, she treated her stepson with the same love as her biological children. Today, she proudly declares that she has not three, but four children, who share the same sibling bond as biological siblings.
