Islamabad (News Desk) Chief Justice Yahya Afridi emphasized that the judiciary holds the vital responsibility of interpreting the law and safeguarding fundamental rights. During a meeting with various bar associations, he highlighted the judiciary’s reliance on the legal fraternity to ensure the delivery of justice.

Addressing the gathering, Chief Justice Afridi acknowledged the pivotal role of lawyers in the justice system, urging them to tackle challenges to ensure timely and effective justice. He stated that the judiciary values the contributions of the legal community and is committed to enhancing their professional capabilities.

To support this, the Chief Justice announced that the Judicial Academy will provide training to strengthen lawyers’ professional skills. Furthermore, the Law Commission will distribute grants of one million rupees to bar associations under the Justice Access Program to enhance their operational capacities.

In addition, Chief Justice Afridi assured the Multan High Court Bar Association of the provision of video link facilities, emphasizing the judiciary’s commitment to fostering technological advancements.

He concluded by underscoring the need for collective efforts by all stakeholders to achieve sustainable development, reaffirming the judiciary’s dedication to upholding justice and strengthening the rule of law.
