Gold prices have witnessed a notable increase both in international and domestic markets.
In the international bullion market, the price of gold rose by $14 per ounce, reaching $2,628.
Simultaneously, the local gold markets experienced a significant hike, with the price of 24-karat gold increasing by PKR 1,400 per tola, now priced at PKR 274,000. Similarly, the price per 10 grams rose by PKR 1,200, reaching PKR 234,911.
Contrary to the rise in gold prices, silver remained steady in both global and local markets. The price of silver per tola stood unchanged at PKR 3,350, while the rate for 10 grams remained stable at PKR 2,872.08.
