Last night, a wedding ceremony took place for Zaid Hussain Nawaz, the grandson of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Nawaz Sharif. Zaid Hussain Nawaz got married to Aimen Habib, the daughter of renowned industrialist Sheikh Habib-ur-Rehman.
The event was attended by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Chief Minister Punjab Mian Hamza Shehbaz, and Maryam Nawaz. Guests from the United States, India, the United Kingdom, and Italy were also present at the ceremony.
Renowned Qawwali singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan performed at the event during a special Qawwali night to celebrate Zaid Hussain Nawaz’s wedding. Guests were treated to traditional dishes during the event.
Today, a Mehndi function will be held at Jati Umra, while Zaid Hussain Nawaz’s baraat will take place on December 28, followed by the walima on December 29.
