Cold and Dry Conditions Predicted Across Most Parts of the Country

Cold and dry weather is expected to prevail in most areas of the country, with intense cold anticipated during the morning and night in the hilly regions. Kashmir is likely to experience partly cloudy skies, with light rain and snowfall at a few locations. Smog and fog are expected to linger in Punjab and upper Sindh.

According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department, fog is expected to affect Islamabad, the Pothohar region, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Over the past 24 hours, the weather has remained cold and dry, with severe cold in the hilly areas. Smog and fog persisted in the plains of Punjab and upper Sindh.

The lowest temperature recorded was -13°C in Leh and -11°C in Skardu.
