Gujranwala:
The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested a human trafficker following a crackdown in Gujranwala.

According to FIA, the arrested trafficker had deceived a naive couple by promising to send them to the United Kingdom and extorted 9.3 million rupees from them. After taking the money, the trafficker went into hiding.

Upon the trafficker’s disappearance, the affected family filed a complaint with the FIA. Acting on a tip-off regarding the suspect’s location in Aimanabad, the FIA team conducted a raid and apprehended the trafficker. Investigations are currently underway.

This arrest comes shortly after the tragic drowning of 40 Pakistanis off the coast of Crete, Greece, in recent days. In response, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif ordered nationwide crackdowns on human traffickers.
