Peshawar(News Desk) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Shaukat Yousafzai has cautioned that if the civil disobedience call by PTI founder Imran Khan is acted upon, it could cause significant damage to the country.

In a statement, Yousafzai welcomed the government’s decision to engage in dialogue, emphasizing the need to consider the release of innocent people detained during the recent political unrest. He explained that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Chief Minister was unable to attend a key meeting due to commitments regarding the Kurram district.

“Our committee will present its demands on January 2. It’s time for everyone to think about the country’s future,” he stated. Yousafzai added that if Imran Khan issues another call, people will take to the streets despite the government’s intimidation tactics.

The PTI leader further alleged that an undeclared martial law is in effect in Punjab, stifling political activities. He urged the government to show flexibility to normalize the situation. “Political parties have many options, but politicians are not terrorists,” he remarked, calling for an end to restrictions on political movements.
