Chilly Winds Increase Intensity of Cold in Karachi

Karachi, : The city of Karachi is experiencing a heightened chill as stronger-than-usual cold winds sweep through the area, intensifying the winter weather.

According to the Meteorological Department, Karachi is expected to remain cold and dry over the next 24 hours, with northeasterly winds blowing at speeds of 20 to 35 kilometers per hour throughout the day.

The icy winds are causing the cold to feel 2 to 4 degrees lower than the actual temperature. The minimum temperature recorded in the city today was 13.5°C, while the maximum is expected to reach 27°C, with a minimum of 11°C forecast for the next 24 hours.

Since the beginning of December, Karachi has been under the grip of cold winds, with the lowest temperature recorded so far at 9°C. Residents are advised to stay warm and take precautions against the chilly weather.
