Ginger Gaetz, the wife of former Florida congressman Matt Gaetz, has continued to show her support for her husband as he faces resurfaced sexual allegations and a leaked Justice Department investigation.
The 30-year-old frequently posts on social media, proudly referring to Gaetz, 42, as her “wifey” and sharing loved-up photos. In the face of mounting backlash, including a recent withdrawal from the process of becoming Donald Trump’s attorney general pick, Ginger has remained steadfast.
After Gaetz announced his withdrawal in November, Ginger quickly took to Instagram, posting: “The end of an era.” She also shared a photo of the couple walking hand-in-hand up Capitol steps, adding, “No one loves America more than this guy.”
As Gaetz’s legal woes resurfaced, including accusations linked to sex trafficking and drug-fueled parties, Ginger posted supportive messages, ignoring detractors. “Attorney General will look great on you my love,” she wrote, despite one comment claiming, “Him behind bars will be better.”
Ginger, who is the sister of tech entrepreneur Palmer Luckey, met Gaetz in early 2020 at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort.
The couple’s whirlwind romance led to a proposal in December 2020, despite the ongoing investigation into Gaetz by the Justice Department. Gaetz has denied all allegations, and no criminal charges have been filed.
The couple married in 2021, with Ginger publicly expressing her unwavering support. In a 2020 interview, she referred to herself as Gaetz’s “travel buddy,” indicating her commitment to follow him wherever his political career took him.
