Peshawar (News Desk) – Former President Dr. Arif Alvi has stated that negotiations will only be successful if they involve those who are responsible for making the country’s decisions.

Speaking to the media in Peshawar, Dr. Alvi dismissed any reports of internal divisions within the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). He also addressed the issue of the no-confidence motion that led to the downfall of the PTI government, stating that the role of those behind it is widely known.

Dr. Alvi further mentioned that he would advise the PTI chairman regarding the release of the party’s founder. His comments came after Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced the formation of a negotiating committee, based on the Speaker of the National Assembly’s suggestion.

The committee, which consists of government coalition members, includes Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Rana Sanaullah, and Senator Irfan Siddiqui, along with Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, Naveed Qamar, Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Aleem Khan, and Chaudhry Salik Hussain.
