Attock (News Desk) – The Governor of Punjab, Sardar Salim Haider Khan, has criticized the provincial government, stating that there is not a single hospital in Punjab where poor people can receive free treatment. He contrasted this with the situation in Sindh, where all hospitals provide free treatment to the poor.

Speaking at a public gathering in Attock, the Governor emphasized that development projects should be carried out across all of Punjab, not just in Lahore. He noted that areas such as Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Rajanpur, and Dera Ghazi Khan are equally important parts of the province.

Sardar Salim Haider Khan also accused Punjab’s rulers of making empty promises of relief while the public continues to pay taxes without receiving any benefits in return. He reiterated that the primary responsibility of any government is to provide free healthcare and education, which should not be limited to Lahore alone. He called for giving more importance to other districts, or the government’s governance would be at risk.

He further stated that if he remains silent, there would be no opposition in Punjab. He questioned why hospitals lack doctors and urged the people to hold their elected representatives accountable.

Governor Khan also declared that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari would be made the Prime Minister. During the event, members of various communities from Attock’s different union councils announced their decision to join the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP).
