New Delhi: India secured a dominant 9-wicket victory over Pakistan in a Group A match of the U-19 Women’s Asia Cup, showcasing their all-round brilliance.

Batting first, Pakistan managed a modest total of 67 for 7 in their 20 overs. Wicketkeeper-batter Komal Khan top-scored with 24 runs off 32 balls, including four boundaries. India’s left-arm spinner Sonam Yadav delivered an exceptional spell, taking 4 wickets for just 6 runs in her 4 overs.

In reply, India chased down the target in just 7.5 overs with the loss of one wicket. Left-handed batter G. Kamini led the charge with an unbeaten 44 off 29 balls, smashing 4 fours and 3 sixes to seal the victory in style.

Pakistan’s next match is scheduled for Monday against Nepal at 2 PM local time.
