Riyadh/Islamabad:Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi arrived in Riyadh, where he held a meeting with his Saudi counterpart to discuss matters of mutual interest and further strengthen Pakistan-Saudi Arabia relations.
The Saudi Minister of State for Interior, Dr. Khalid Mohammed Abdullah Al-Batal, along with Pakistan’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Ahmed Farooq, warmly welcomed Minister Naqvi.
During the meeting, Naqvi congratulated Saudi Arabia on being awarded the hosting rights for the 2034 FIFA World Cup and extended his best wishes for the tournament.
In his remarks, Minister Naqvi praised Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s Vision 2030, calling it a historic initiative for development and prosperity. He reaffirmed that Saudi Arabia is Pakistan’s most trusted friend in the Islamic world, expressing pride in the deep ties between the two nations and the warmth Pakistanis experience in Saudi Arabia.
Dr. Khalid Al-Batal, the Saudi Minister of State for Interior, highlighted the close relationship between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, expressing optimism for further advancing bilateral ties during Naqvi’s visit.
