Islamabad : Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs, Ishaq Dar, has reiterated Pakistan and China’s unwavering commitment to the success of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). Addressing the National Assembly, Dar emphasized that high-level exchanges between the two countries have strengthened their fraternal ties.
In his written response, Dar stated that these visits and agreements have significantly advanced the second phase of CPEC, fostering cooperation in bilateral trade, investment, economy, and security.
Highlighting the achievements of CPEC, he revealed that the project has attracted investments worth $25 billion, created 236,000 jobs, and is transforming Pakistan’s strategic geographical position into an economic advantage.
Dar concluded by underscoring the importance of CPEC in boosting economic progress and deepening bilateral collaboration between Pakistan and China.
