Karachi: Fire Breaks Out Due to UPS Battery Explosion, Five Sisters Burned

In Karachi, a UPS battery explosion led to a fire in a home, leaving five young sisters with burn injuries. The incident occurred in the Kachhi Para area of Kemari. According to police, the fire ignited after the UPS battery exploded, causing the entire house to catch fire.

Initially, the family suspected a gas cylinder explosion due to the intensity of the blaze. However, after the fire was extinguished by the fire brigade, police confirmed that no evidence of a gas cylinder explosion was found.

The injured sisters, aged between 3 and 11, were rushed to Civil Hospital’s burns ward. The children, identified as Aisha (3), Alisha (5), Manahil (7), Tabeer (9), and Aiza (11), are receiving medical care, and their condition is now reported to be
