The cold wave has firmly set in across the country, with intermittent snowfall continuing in the upper regions of Azad Kashmir. More than two feet of snow has fallen in the mountains, intensifying the chill.
In Gilgit-Baltistan, snowfall persists in the upper areas, disrupting daily life in Astore. Snowfall has also been reported in Babusar Top, Nanga Parbat, and Batogah in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Meanwhile, a severe cold spell continues in various cities of Punjab, including Lahore. In Balochistan, extreme cold in areas such as Quetta, Kalat, Chaman, Killa Abdullah, Pishin, and Ziarat has caused water pipes to freeze.
A landslide has blocked the Gilgit-Skardu road, while Karachi has also experienced a noticeable drop in temperature, with the mercury falling to 11 degrees Celsius in the city.
