Advisor to the Prime Minister Rana Sanaullah made serious allegations against former ISI chief Lt Gen (retd) Faiz Hameed during his appearance on the talk show .

Sanaullah accused Hameed of abusing his position for personal and political gain, accusing him of being involved in actions ranging from coercion to interference in state matters.

According to Rana Sanaullah, Faiz Hameed’s brother, Najaf, partnered with a housing society and allegedly sought to take full control of it. Hameed reportedly threatened the society’s other owner, had him arrested under terrorism charges, and referred him to the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) as a terrorist.

Sanaullah revealed that the Ministry of Defence had been directed by former chief justice of Pakistan Qazi Faez Isa to investigate the matter following complaints. 

Sanaullah also mentioned that Hameed was involved in managing the issue of audio leaks from the Prime Minister’s Office during both the previous and PDM governments. He alleged that a person stationed in the Prime Minister’s House had been leaking audio recordings of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz and others to Faiz Hameed for a long time.
