24 carat per tola gold became expensive by Rs 2 thousand
Gold prices saw a significant hike on the first business day of the week, with increases reported in both global and local markets.
According to jewelers, the price of 24-carat gold rose by PKR 2,000 per tola, reaching PKR 276,400 in local markets. Similarly, the price for 10 grams of gold increased by PKR 1,714, bringing it to PKR 236,968.
In the international market, gold prices climbed by $20 per ounce, reaching $2,652.
Meanwhile, silver prices remained steady, with one tola priced at PKR 3,400 and 10 grams at PKR 2,914.
