Islamabad: Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, met with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Governor Faisal Karim Kundi at Zardari House, Islamabad. During the meeting, Governor Kundi provided a detailed briefing on the historic All Parties Conference (APC) recently held in Peshawar.

Governor Kundi informed Bilawal that the APC was attended by representatives from 16 political parties across KP. However, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chose to boycott the conference. The primary focus of the APC was to address the pressing issues of peace restoration and the ongoing resource-sharing dispute with the federal government.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari described the APC as a “historic and significant initiative” aimed at fostering unity among political forces in KP. Expressing solidarity with the people of the province, he stated, “I stand with you in the struggle for peace and the rightful resources of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.”

The APC is being viewed positively in political circles, seen as a crucial step toward building consensus on key issues affecting the province and ensuring a collaborative approach to resolving them.
