PTI Leader Ali Muhammad Khan Questions Use of Force, Demands Justice for Deceased Supporters
Rawalpindi: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) senior leader Ali Muhammad Khan has raised serious concerns over the use of force during a recent protest, questioning why live ammunition was used against peaceful demonstrators.
Speaking to the media outside Adiala Jail, Ali Muhammad Khan stated, “Whether we went to D-Chowk or Sangjani was an internal matter of our party. Our only question is: why was the trigger pulled?”
He expressed deep sorrow over the loss of lives, saying, “Some people, driven by their love for Pakistan, came to Islamabad with the hope that their grievances would be heard. Little did they know they would lose their lives.”
He confirmed that PTI has verified the deaths of 12 individuals during the protests. “I have never witnessed anything like this—people, in their dying moments, writing their leader’s name in their own blood. These were not just PTI supporters; they were citizens of Pakistan,” he added.
Ali Muhammad Khan vowed to remember the martyrs, emphasizing that the nation is still seeking justice. He highlighted that the release of PTI’s founding leader, Imran Khan, holds the key to resolving the ongoing crisis. “The country still awaits justice, and Imran Khan’s release is the solution to this entire issue,” he remarked.
