Islamabad: The government has extended the deadline for submitting Hajj applications to December 10, according to Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Chaudhry Salik Hussain.
The minister announced that all Hajj applications received by December 3 have been declared successful. He also confirmed that applications submitted under the Sponsorship Scheme have been approved without requiring a ballot.
In the event that the number of applications exceeds the allocated quota, a draw will be held to determine successful applicants.
Chaudhry Salik Hussain urged overseas Pakistanis applying through the Sponsorship Scheme to ensure that their sponsorship funds are deposited by the December 10 deadline.
