Islamabad:Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will depart for a two-day official visit to Saudi Arabia tomorrow at the invitation of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
During the visit, the Prime Minister will hold talks with the Saudi Crown Prince — their third meeting in the past six weeks. The discussions will focus on regional developments, global affairs, and matters of mutual interest.
Prime Minister Sharif will also attend the Water Summit in Riyadh and participate in the Conference of the Parties (COP) under the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD). This international platform addresses land restoration and is one of the three key Rio Conventions.
Additionally, the Prime Minister is scheduled to meet UN Secretary-General António Guterres and other global leaders to discuss pressing international challenges and explore opportunities for collaboration.
