ICC Decides to Re-Convene Board Meeting Over Champions Trophy 2025

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has decided to re-convene a board meeting to address the ongoing deadlock between the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) regarding the hosting of the 2025 Champions Trophy.

According to sources, the impasse remains unresolved as both cricket boards are awaiting government directives before making a final decision. The crucial meeting is likely to be held on December 5.

Both sides are expected to present their respective positions clearly during the discussions. If a mutually acceptable formula is agreed upon beforehand, the meeting may be canceled.

Under the proposed partnership formula, the ICC will have the final say on the matter, potentially bringing an end to the stalemate.
