Barrister Gohar and Barrister Mohammad Ali Saif, the provincial government’s information adviser, held a one-and-a-half-hour meeting with the founder of PTI, Imran Khan, at Adiala Jail.

Sources reveal that Barrister Gohar and Barrister Saif sought permission from Imran Khan to initiate negotiations with the government. The PTI Chairman, Imran Khan, will form a committee to engage in talks with the government, while the PTI committee will also consult party members regarding the location for the proposed sit-in.

According to sources, the government has proposed an alternative site for the protest instead of D-Chowk and has promised to facilitate PTI in selecting a new location. Negotiations are expected to take place soon between PTI leadership and government representatives, with discussions on the potential impact of shifting from D-Chowk on the demands made by PTI.

The leadership has reportedly called for the release of all prisoners, including the PTI founder, and stated that they will not return until their demands are met.

Speaking to the media after the meeting, Barrister Gohar confirmed that the meeting with the PTI founder was crucial. He emphasized that the PTI’s call for protest remains final, and there are no plans to call off the protest.
