In a significant step towards building a digitally empowered and economically resilient Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Technology Board (KPITB) has unveiled a series of groundbreaking initiatives. These initiatives aim to boost digital skills, foster entrepreneurial innovation, and create job opportunities across the province.

The KPITB, under the leadership of Chief Minister Ali Amin Khan Gandapur, has launched several key initiatives, including:

Digital Internship Program: Offering 200 internship opportunities to young graduates to train them in industry-demanded skills.

  1. Join IT: An online portal connecting skilled individuals with IT companies seeking technical expertise.
  2. Google Partnership: Offering scholarships to 5,000 youth from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to earn certifications in high-demand digital skills.
  3. 2024 Startup Cohort: Welcoming 20 new startups incubated at Durshal, KPITB’s flagship business incubation center.
  4. Government Innovation Fellowship Program: Onboarding a new group of fellows to work with government departments to identify challenges and develop digital solutions.
  5. These initiatives demonstrate the government’s commitment to transforming Khyber Pakhtunkhwa into a hub of digital excellence, equipping youth with necessary skills, and creating an ecosystem that nurtures innovation and entrepreneurship.
